the more and more I am travelling for weddings, the more I am realizing how great is to photograph weddings in Berlin.
We tend to appreciate more the places that are far away from your daylife, and ignore the beauty around us. An exercise of discovering the city where you live, looking at it with different eyes and from different angles and above all the satisfaction to come back home after a long day.
Being wedding photographer in Berlin is just a privelege. The city offers you many options, from the most alternative industrial places, to the old buildings that survived the 2nd world war, to the impresive Karl-Marx Allee, the most important avenue in the Democratic Republic of Germany before the reunification. A little bit of all this you will find in this reportage.
Lucía and Wolfgang are a wonderful couple. They came from Stuttgart to get married in Berlin. A very special city for them where Lucía lived for many years, and where they enjoyed so many special moments together. They wanted to keep it simple at their wedding day. The Getting-Ready took place in Nhow Hotel in Berlin, the ceremony in the beautiful Standesamt Neukölln and the venue, Fabrik 23, for me one of the best alternative wedding locations in Berlin.
