Amongst the first things to catch your eye are the whitewashed houses, usually accompanied by blue doors and windows. The houses are plainly in absolute concordance with the light blue sky and the vast Aegean sea. These colors represent Santorini, these colors represent all of Greece as they also match its flag.

It is difficult to escape the typical image of Santorini, having been photographed millions of times. Santorini is such a beautiful place, a wonder of nature, and somehow outside my comfort zone, I would say. But the challenge was quite attractive, and I tried to take the reportage to my field, bring my style to this environment and look at it in a new way. After all, that was the reason why Qi and Dylan chose me, as they mentioned in the inquiry, they wanted something different. Qi, the bride, loves Black and White pictures, which is always a dream for me! My passion for Black and White photography does not stop growing lately, and to juxtapose this style over the bright colours of Santorini was daring and exciting.

Living stories and experiences like these make me realize how lucky I am to do what I do.
Qi and Dylan are an amazing couple full of kindness. They are from Australia and came to Santorini to elope, and I am so happy to have met them and documented their beautiful story.
