Wedding, Engagement and Elopement photographer in Lanzarote // “Memory is the only paradise from which we can´t be driven” (Jean Paul). My memories about Lanzarote were very blurred. My parents took me there, like every regular spanish family, for holidays. We were born by the sea, in the Mediterranean, so holidays at the beach is not as cool as for many other people, I guess. So the only memories, what really caught my attention, were the volcanoes and seas of lava, characteristic landscape of the Canary islands. Lanzarote is continually battered by the weapons Mother Nature has, the wind, the fire and the sea, but the island stoically supports the envy of nature, showing itself more proud and beautiful with each blow.

A few days ago I had the opportunity to come back to shoot Pao and Fran, and the first thing that came to my mind was to photograph them in this environment that I still had in mind. “Dani, let’s go to the volcano of my parents” Fran said when we were looking for locations to make the photos. His parents live a few meters away from the volcano. There are so many volcanoes on the island that it is as if each volcano belonged to someone. Pao and Fran are such an amazing couple. We connected immediately, as if we had always known each other. I hope you could feel the wind, taste the salt from the sea on your lips and experience the conection between these two lovers.
